This is Boston’s first ever Zero-K! The Boston Zero-K is an event for people of all abilities, including those unable to participate in traditional runs. With all the spirit of a 5K and none of the distance, the event raises awareness and funds to advance research and treatment for Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease (CMT), a progressive, degenerative condition affecting over 3 million people worldwide. With no current cure, those living with CMT face a lifetime of worsening pain, numbness, sensory loss, muscle weakness/atrophy, and nerve degeneration.
